Analysis of the results using descriptive statistics showed group average reduction of BMI 3.5%, weight 3.2%, BP 16.24% / 19.48%, HRV 19.33%. Spirometric results showed an improvement of 6.9% of FEV1 value. Brainwave analysis showed reduction of left-right imbalance by 20.73%. Average Alpha wave measurements increased from 73.3 to 81. Other physical improvements experienced by the participants include

1.Body Posture,
2. Flexibility,
3. Increased Mobility in Walking/Running,

Abstract :

Introduction: Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) system based on ancient yogic practices, is an integrated approach known from experience to heal diverse human diseases and sicknesses holistically. This case study presents the outcomes of vision improvements of participants through Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) healing techniques by conducting a two-week eye healing camp at Bangarpet, Karnataka.

Materials and Methods: This is a case study method going into details of how the YPV eye camp was conducted. The YPV team collaborated with eye doctors of the local Government hospitals who screened and helped to identify a sample of 27eye patients. YPV healers performed healing daily on each patient. In addition, the patients were trained to practice some YPV techniques on daily basis. Patient feedback reports were also taken at the end of the intervention.

Results: After receiving healing, vision improved for 23 participants from 80% to 100% within 5 to 10 days of healing. Seven of them could read without spectacles. However, for one patient cylindrical and spherical values were found to be higher than at intake, which needed further investigations. Three participants could not participate fully in the camp and discontinued for personal reasons.

Conclusions: It is observed that the YPV process caused other positive effects also besides improvements in vision for most of them, indicating the holistic nature of YPV healing. Participants who regularly attended forgiveness prayer and breathing exercises had better results. A participant who had been suffering from insomnia reported getting quality deep sleep.

Journal Title: Management of Post-herpetic Neuralgia (PHN) by Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) healing: A case study.

Publications: American J of Bio-medical and Life sciences, Vol.7 No.6, 2019, pp.174-178

Authors: Dr. Rajkumari Sachdeva, Dr. Venkata Satyanarayana Nanduri

Abstract :

Background: Post Herpetic Neuralgia (PHN) is a chronic potentially debilitating resistant neuropathic pain. This is a single in-depth case study conducted to assess the effectiveness of Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) Healing in the Management of PHN. Experience has shown that YPV is an effective noninvasive non-drug therapy for several ailments and the first author tried this study hasto used YPV in the management of this severe painful condition. The article, also providesgive some insights into the future possibilities of YPV applications.

Methods: One sample subject patient suffering from the available patients of first author’s clinical practice PHN was selected and atreated with s a set of YPV protocols protocolswere applied to the patient. Also Tthe patient was advised to performasked to do self-practice of some YPV protocols. He had been treated earlier with conventional therapy consisting of Opioid Analgesic Pentazocin injection, sedatives like valium, tricyclic antidepressant like Gapapentin-for-four months duration with little relief from pain. The patient was advised to perform self-practice of some YPV protocols including rhythmic yogic breathing 2-3 times a day. Initially healing was done three times a day for 3 days and then once in a day for 4 days.

Results: During the first healing session, the patient slept in clinic and got relief in the pain by 20%. On the same day in the night he slept forslept for 7 hours.. Initially healing was done three times a day for 3 days and then once in a day for 4 days. Patient was advised to do rhythmic yogic breathing 2-3 times a day. Within a week patient was completely relieved of his pain, stopped taking any analgesic, psychotropic drugs, and& resumed his daily chores. Some of this is to be explained in the protocol as methods. Results should have only the outcome

Conclusions: A medical consensus has emerged for the management of PHN, because of universal presence of varicella zoster infection, individual at least 50 years of age should receive the AHZ vaccine to minimize their risk of both AHZ & PHN.

In the present case study, Author 1 has used YPN is an effective alternative effective noninvasive nondrug, non-touch therapy successfully for the relief of pain in PHN when re the conventional therapy may be was ineffective. The article also provides some insights into the future possibilities of YPV applications.

Abstract :

Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV), which is a non-touch non-drug biofield-energy healing method performed by trained YPV healers, is used successfully as complementary and also as alternative medicine to cure various human ailments, including diabetes. The present study was carried out by analyzing data collected during three years from YPV healing camps in which diabetes patients were healed. The findings show that in the sample of 19 patients healed for type 2 diabetes, there was medically acceptable reduction of blood sugar level for some and appreciable decreased levels for all. This indicates that primarily the targeted YPV healing framework was effective and worked well in the management and control of diabetes for the sample subjects.YPV protocols used in healing Diabetes are examined in detail and YPV process framework and model are presented. The authors conclude that the evidence gathered in this study confirms successful outcome of YPV practice in the management and control of diabetes and offers scope for targeted research in future on bigger scale.
