Abstract :

Background: Hyperopic astigmatism is a complex refractive error causing visual blur, eye strain, and persistent headaches. While traditional correction involves spectacles, contact lenses, or surgical procedures, complementary energy healing approaches like the Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) system offer alternative holistic pathways.

Objective: To evaluate the long-term effectiveness of YPV protocols in treating mild hyperopic astigmatism and maintaining spectacle-free visual stability over a 6-year longitudinal period.

Methodology:

Patient Profile: A 27-year-old female presenting with frequent right-sided headaches and mild hyperopic astigmatism in both eyes who wore spectacles for a year before opting for YPV healing.

Intervention: Being a YPV healer herself, the patient performed self-healing sessions for 3 months (from January 2, 2020, to April 2, 2020).

YPV Protocols Used: Healer Development Level 1 protocol for the regeneration of eyes. Sessions were conducted once daily for 15 minutes without any medications during the healing period.

Results: The patient experienced an 80% improvement within 3 months and completely stopped wearing spectacles.
Visual sharpness improved for both near and far distances, and her previous headaches resolved entirely.
A 6-year longitudinal follow-up through 2026 confirmed stable ocular health, normal intraocular pressures, healthy segments, and sustained visual acuity without the need for spectacles.

Conclusion: The application of YPV techniques successfully restored ocular health and sustained functional vision without spectacles, demonstrating the value of integrative approaches for refractive errors.
