Abstract :

Introduction: The occurrence of toxicity or poison effects of excessive use of unsupervised Vitamin D supplements, though it is rare, is a well-researched topic. The health effects can be serious if it is not promptly identified and acted upon. This paper presents a case ot 69 years old remale patient suffered debilitating elects of Vitamin D Toxicity through self-medication, Who was treated with Yoga Prana Vidya System by a team of two healers successfully.

Method: This paper uses case study method of collecting data from patient records, healers records and patient feedback through her family

Results: Within 10 days of YPV healing, the bedridden patient regained strength progressively and was able to rise up and walk with support. Alter the next 4 weeks of YPV healing support she was able to do household chores and walk longer. After next four months, her blood tests showed normal levels of Vitamin D

Conclusions: Health care providers should monitor use of these supplements, especially in the population at risk due to high dose requirements. Yoga Prana Vidya system of healing offers support system needed in the management of excessive use or Vitamin D supplements, rehabilitating the patients holistically as is observed in this case studv. Further research on this topic Is recommended.

Abstract :

Introduction:
Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP), also known as Immunoglobulin A (IgA) vasculitis, is a rare disease in adults compared with children. Proper diagnosis using the laid down criteria is important for successful treatment of this condition. This paper presents a case of a 25-year-old female who suffered this condition, and was cured using Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) protocols as complementary medicine.

Method: This paper uses case study method going through the patient’s medical reports, YPV healer’s interaction details with patient and patient feedback.

Results: In this case of 4 months YPV intervention, the patient was getting relief from pain caused by this illness condition. Initially it was difficult to diagnose the patient’s illness condition correctly, but a rheumatologist’s diagnosis and prescription complemented by YPV healing cured this condition of HSP within 4 weeks. The pain and swelling disappeared completely and the red spots diminished.

Conclusion: Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) healing has proven as an effective complementary medicine for fast recovery, when the disease is correctly diagnosed and appropriate treatment is given. It has also been proven to cure some of the disease conditions as an effective alternative treatment modality where there was no treatment available in main stream medicine. Further research may be conducted using appropriate sample to gain more knowledge in this field.

Introduction: Discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE) is the most common type of chronic cutaneous lupus (CCLE), an autoimmune skin condition that presents with red, painful, inflamed and coin-shaped patches of skin with a scaly and crusty appearance, often on the scalp, cheeks, and ears. Diagnosis is through
Clinical examination and skin biopsy. Besides having physical pain, patients suffer from psychological and emotional stresses. There are several treatment options, and not one fits all. This paper presents a case of DLE treated using Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) system of healing protocols.

Methods: This is a case study of a 56-year-old female home maker, diagnosed with DLE, and had undergone YPV healing treatment rendered by a senior healer over a period of 6 months. In addition, the patient learnt and practiced physical and breathing exercises and also peace and forgiveness meditation protocols. Case medical details and patient feedback form the data used in this study.

Results: As a result of YPV intervention within a period of 4 months, the patient DLE condition cured and healed completely, recovered physically, mentally and emotionally, and she resumed her normal routine of daily household work and evening walks effortlessly. She learnt YPV level 1 and continued practising RYB (Rhythmic Yogic Breathing), forgiveness and PPM (Planetary peace meditation) regularly.

Conclusions: Yoga Prana Vidya system has been experienced as a very versatile integrated discipline helping sick people to practice the YPV healing protocols to normalise their health condition successfully, and holistically. Further research may be carried out on appropriate sample of patients to gain more knowledge related to treatment of various illness conditions such as DLE.

Abstract :

 Healthy aging is a state of being and a concept that overlaps psychology and healthcare domains. A concern for most adults is how to successfully live through healthy aging. It has also aroused great interest in scientific community to conduct exploratory and interventional studies to identify factors contributing to healthy aging and recommend ways and means to achieve it. In this context it is observed that Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) is an integrated and holistic process of composite body-mind healing that represents explanations and techniques to promote and maintain healthy aging through light physical exercises, rhythmic yogic breathing, Yogic super brain asana, meditation, energy body healing and right diet thereby improving and sustaining composite health (mental, emotional and physical health) of adults of all ages. In the conclusion it maybe said that introducing YPV to children and youth from schooling/college stage will foster naturally healthy life in adulthood with minimal or no-disease life in old age.

Abstract :

Introduction: Life for senior citizens, in all cultures globally, is very challenging -physically, mentally and emotionally, leading to a gradual decline in physical and mental capacity with a risk of disease ingress, and an earlier death. Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) is one integrated system that offers a set of easily practicable protocols to help older population maintain physical and mental health holistically. In the context of COVID 19, available data reveals that most of the patients deceased are seniors and 85 to 90% deceased had comorbid conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. Methods: Review method is used to identify, collect and synthesize available evidence in respect of the effective applications of YPV for seniors and how it can help them aging successfully. Eight published articles are reviewed on the effectiveness of YPV for various diseases and health conditions of seniors. Findings: This review confirms positive effects of practicing YPV with controlled diet by older people, such as cognitive abilities, emotional stability, weight reduction and control of BMI, less relapse and less new disease proneness, body flexibility, mobility, and boosted immunity to counter infections. Regular practice of YPV protocols enables balancing left and right brains achieving balance between emotion and cognition. Conclusion: YPV asan integrated, holistic and safe system is appropriate approach for older people to stay healthy and fit, and additionally it develops spiritual dimension also through meditations.
