Abstract :

Background: Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) is a critical condition characterized by a sudden decline in renal function, often requiring hospitalization and dialysis. Integrative approaches combining conventional nephrology with complementary therapies may enhance recovery outcomes. Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) healing is an energy-based system that incorporates breathing practices, meditation, and structured healing protocols.

Case Presentation: A 22-year-old male student presented with severe back pain and was diagnosed with AKI in March 2018. Laboratory investigations revealed elevated creatinine levels, and nephrologists recommended dialysis and biopsy. The patient was admitted to KMC Jyothi Hospital, Mangalore. Alongside conventional treatment, Certified YPV Healer Mohandas Baliga initiated healing sessions using YPV Level 2, 3, and 5 protocols, and HDP Level 1. A total of 110 sessions were conducted over three months, initially twice daily, later tapered. The patient also practiced Rhythmic Yogic Breathing as instructed.

Results: Within 25–30 days, medical reports demonstrated normalization of renal function. Dialysis and biopsy procedures were completed smoothly, and the patient was discharged. By one month, physicians confirmed recovery with positive test results. Healing continued for three months to sustain energy balance. The patient subsequently learned YPV Level 1 for self-healing and reported long-term well-being, including employment and marriage.

Conclusion: This case highlights the potential role of YPV healing as a complementary modality in the management of AKI. When integrated with conventional nephrology, YPV may accelerate recovery, enhance patient resilience, and support sustained health outcomes.

Abstract :

Background: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a progressive condition associated with high morbidity and mortality. Conventional management focuses on pharmacological and lifestyle interventions, yet complementary therapies are increasingly explored. Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV), an energy-based healing system, has shown promise in integrative health.

Case Presentation: A 41-year-old Chartered Accountant, experienced a sudden health crisis in June 2009 with severe palpitations, sweating, insomnia, and hypertension (BP 170–180/100-110 mmHg). Laboratory investigations revealed elevated serum creatinine (1.6 mg/dL), suggestive of early kidney dysfunction. Initial Ayurvedic therapy failed to improve symptoms. In August 2009, he commenced YPV healing under a certified YPV healer, receiving 210 sessions over 11 months, alongside daily self-practices, as per YPV Sadhana App.

Results: Within weeks, symptoms subsided, sleep normalized, and energy improved. By July 2010, serum creatinine returned to 1.1 mg/dL, blood urea 28 mg/dL, and BP sthbilized at 130/90 mmHg without medication. Longitudinal follow-up (2010–2025) confirmed sustained renal function (creatinine 0.8 mg/dL, urea 21 mg/dL), normal kidney size on ultrasound, and stable cardiovascular parameters.

Discussion: This case highlights the potential role of YPV healing in reversing early kidney dysfunction and maintaining long-term stability. Mechanisms may involve stress reduction, autonomic regulation, and subtle energy modulation. While anecdotal, the findings align with emerging evidence on YPV’s efficacy in diverse conditions.

Conclusion: YPV healing contributed to normalization of renal function and sustained wellbeing in this case. Controlled studies are recommended to further validate its role in integrative nephrology.

Abstract :

Background: Chronic fungal urinary tract infections (UTIs), particularly candiduria (the presence of Candida species in the urine), are difficult to manage and often recur despite conventional treatment. Integrative healing modalities such as Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) have shown promise in addressing chronic conditions through energy-based interventions. A 37 years old female patient presented with a 17-year history of recurrent vaginal itching and frequent urination, diagnosed as chronic fungal UTI. Multiple specialist consultations and medications across allopathic, Ayurvedic, and dermatological disciplines brought only temporary relief.

Objective: To report the resolution of the 17-year chronic fungal UTI in a female patient using YPV healing techniques and lifestyle modifications.

Methods: Case study method is used in this study by collecting data from the patient and the YPV healer. The intervention included daily energy healing sessions, breathing exercises, forgiveness sadhana, physical routines, and a salt-free diet and fruits. Healing focused on cleansing and energizing specific chakras (basic, sex, and navel Chakras), cleansing the meng mein Chakra, and cleansing and energizing organs (kidneys, ureter, bladder and urethra). Healing also included psychotherapy and blood-cleansing techniques.

Results: The patient reported significant symptom relief within two days and complete resolution within one month. A urine test conducted after 2 months confirmed the absence of yeast cells. No recurrence was observed during a two- month follow-up, when the patient expressed sustained well-being.

Conclusion: This case suggests that YPV healing protocols may be an effective alternative therapy for chronic fungal UTIs, especially in cases unresponsive to conventional treatment. Further clinical studies are recommended to explore its broader applicability and underlying mechanisms.

Abstract :

Introduction: One of the most common illnesses that afflict people of all ages is urinary tract infection (UTI ). Any portion of the urinary system, which includes the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra, can get UTI. It primarily occurs in the bladder and urethra, which are parts of the lower urinary system. Multidrug-resistant germs make urinary tract infections (UTIs) a serious health risk. This paper presents a case of 66 years old female UTI patient. Medicines alone could not treat and the UTI relapsed. A Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) Healer treated this patient successfully using YPV healing protocols as complementary medicine.

Method: This is a case study method, taking patient medical data and healer’s records.

Results: After seven days of vigorous YPV healing, the urinary tract infection was totally eradicated. The physician confirmed the patient’s recovery from the UTI. The patient kept regularly practicing the YPV sadhana components from the mobile App. After two weeks, the patient’s follow-up showed no signs of a UTI recurrence.

Conclusions: YPV healing regimens have been shown to be effective as complementary and alternative medicine in illness prevention and treatment initiatives. Additional research using a suitable sample and technique is recommended.

Abstract :

Vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) is characterized by abnormal urine flow from the bladder back through the ureters, finally reaching the kidneys. The disease is usually symptomless and is diagnosed accidentally when patients suffer from febrile urinary tract infections.

Many treatment guidelines are available ranging from medicine to surgery. However, management is a clinical art. Here, we present a pediatric case of VUR healed by Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) therapies without surgery. The normal condition of the patient’s kidneys and bladder was achieved within 2½ months of the YPV healing intervention. This case shows that YPV protocols have successfully treated a pediatric VUR condition without the need for surgery. Further research using appropriate sample and methodology is recommended.

Abstract :

Introduction: A kidney stone is a cluster of crystals formed together to create a hard mass in one or both kidneys, bladder and the urinary tract, varying in size from a few millimetres to several centimetres causing severe pain. The majority of stones less than 10 mm in size will pass out of the body in the urine using various remedies, but some medical help is preferable. This paper presents 7 patient cases of kidney stones dissolved and patients relieved of pain, anxiety and worry and associated symptoms successfully using Yoga Prana Vidya healing protocols.

Method: This paper uses the case study method, analysing patient medical records, and healers’ records with patient feedback.

Results: The kidney stones of patients were fully dissolved within 45 days in respect of cases 1 and 2. In respect of cases 3 and 4, the kidney stones were dissolved within 10 to 14 days of healing. The patients correspondingly experienced complete relief of all symptoms within the same period. In respect of cases 5, 6 and 7, the kidney stones were dissolved within 5 days of healing in an in-house healing camp in a controlled Group environment.

Conclusion: YPV healing protocols effectively healed and eliminated kidney stones (renal calculi). Documented and published evidence shows that integrated YPV system of healing protocols have been successfully applied in the treatment of a variety of illnesses holistically both as Complementary Medicine and as Alternative Medicine (CAM). Further research using appropriate samples and methodology is recommended. It is also worthwhile to train frontline health workers such as doctors and nurses in using YPV techniques to complement their respective specialties for the holistic healing of patients.

Abstract :

Introduction: kidneys filter blood by removing waste and extra water to make urine. The kidney’s filtration rate, called the glomerular filtration rate (GFR), shows how well the kidneys are filtering. Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is known to be the 6th fastest growing cause of death globally. Early detection of CKD can help to protect kidney function. This paper presents a case of Stage 2 Kidney disease treated successfully by the application of Yoga Prana Vidya healing protocols.

Method
: This study uses case study method, analysing patient medical records and YPV protocols used in treating the patient for 6 months. Patient feedback also obtained for analysis.

Results: Improvements in the main parameters achieved at the end of 6 months of YPV intervention show that eGFR improved from 79 to 95. Total Cholesterol improved from 235 mg/dl to 165 mg/dl. HDL Cholesterol increased from 32 mg/dl to 47 mg/dl and LDL Cholesterol reduced from 150 mg/dl to 94 mg/dl. Patient achieved peace and satisfaction of YPV treatment that worked for normalizing his kidney condition.

Conclusion: Using the YPV intervention for this patient, only YPV healing was given and no other form of therapy or treatment was given for stage 2 kidney ailment, which shows that YPV Healing System can be applied not only as complementary treatment but also as an alternative treatment mode in such cases of diseases. Further research may be conducted with wider applications of YPV Healing system to various other kidney ailments.

Abstract :

Background: Nephrotic syndrome (NS) is not a disease but needs to be treated. This case study discusses the successful treatment of Nephrotic Syndrome (NS) using techniques of Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) as complementary medicine. This paper further explores the patient traits of self management and control needed to sustain the improvements through changes in habits and life style.

Materials and Methods: Case study method is used with collection of data of a 22-year-old female patient diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome, monitoring and evaluation of their health conditions based on lab reports, changes in medicinal dosages and overall wellbeing before and after Yoga Prana Vidya system intervention.

Results: Within two months of YPV intervention, the nephrotic syndrome was brought in control, as seen in the lab test reports that showed absence of Albumin in urine, elimination of bacteria and increase of hemoglobin level, and this enabled reduction in dosage of medication. Besides controlling nephrotic syndrome, the YPV intervention enabled positive changes in overall health.

Conclusions: It follows from this case study that YPV can be used as an effective healing tool for complementary treatment of Nephrotic Syndrome and overall holistic health of the person. YPV produces best results, when integrated approaches such as physical and breathing exercises and meditation techniques are followed in practice with self-management. There is ample scope to conduct further research on the application of Yoga Prana Vidya as a cost-effective, safe and complementary/alternative medicine for treatment of nephrotic syndrome and various other medical conditions.

Abstract :

Introduction: Rectourethral fistula (RUF) is a rare and debilitating condition. Spontaneous closure is rarely effective, and appropriate management regarding the timing of repair and surgical approach remains debateable. This paper presents a case of a 14 year old mentally challenged male patient suffering over 6
months from RUF and advised surgery, but reluctant to undergo.

Material & Methods:  This is case study method. Considering the patient’s morbid condition, as an alternative the author who is a senior YPV healer started healing treatment using advanced YPV protocols to improve and cure his RUF condition.

Results:  Within 7 days of healing, the severity of the incontinence reduced as observed by the soiling of the bed. Healing continued for 1 month, and the child recovered fully with no urinary incontinence and no recurrence noticed during subsequent yearlong follow up.

Conclusion: Yoga Prana Vidya is an effective alternative modality of conservative management of urinary fistula where other conservative measures failed and where the surgery had to be avoided due to the comorbid condition and reluctance of the child.
