Abstract :

Introduction: Musculo-skeletal disorders (MSDs) are highly prevalent globally with 1.71 billion people in 160 countries, and patients need rehabilitation therapies to recover. This paper presents four cases of MSD that were healed successfully using Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) protocols.

Method: This is a case study method, and the process of investigation consists of going through the case details of each patient and the healer’s records.

Results: A review of these four cases indicate that the patients recovered from their Musculo-skeletal conditions within 2 to 4 weeks of healing done daily, using YPV advanced treatment protocols.

Conclusions: Being no-drug no-touch method of energy healing, YPV offers great scope in the treatment of MSD conditions as alternative low-cost treatment modality. Recommendations include looking into the possibilities of training doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers in the practice of YPV healing system, and conduct further research on the application of YPV in treating MSDs using appropriate sample size and methodology.

Abstract :

Bones form a vital part of the skeletal system providing mechanical support, strength, structure and protection to the human body. Inability of the bone to resist any kind of stress caused accidently can result in a bone injury or a fracture. This article provides a summary of eleven cases of bone injury and fracture treated successfully by yoga prana vidya (YPV) techniques as a complementary medicine for faster recovery. The study was carried out by two healers who independently healed eleven cases of bone injury and fracture using the bone regeneration techniques of YPV. Further, the data was collected and the results were analysed. By application of YPV healing techniques complementarily, it is observed that full recovery took place within 10 days to 45 days for the 3 hospitalised cases, and within 3 to 8 days for the two patients who had bandage/dressing done at a medical facility. In case of the remaining 6 patients who sought YPV healing help in preference to seeking medical help the recovery took place within 5 to 20 days. helping the patients to lead a normal life thereafter. It is observed that YPV techniques can be used for faster recovery of patients with injured and fractured bones. This paper shows the successful results when the techniques were applied on eleven participants. It is recommended to conduct further studies on a larger scale for the healing of bone related cases such as injury and fractures.

Abstract :

Introduction: Kneecap (Patella) dislocation is a common injury experienced by sports persons and dancers, most common in females, and generally occurs in adolescents below 17 years of age. Usual diagnostic procedures include physical examination, followed by X-ray, CT scan and MRI. Patients experience severe pain, instability in the knee and difficulty to walk. Both conservative and surgical treatments are available and its choice depends on various factors. This paper presents a case of patellar dislocation conservatively treated using Yoga Prana Vidya System protocols without medication and combined with physiotherapy.

Materials and Methods: This is an in-depth case study of a female aged 19 years at first instance of patellar dislocation. A study of the medical reports and patient/parents’ feed back is carried out and results assessed with a follow up after 6 months.

Results: Within 2-3 months of healing and supported by physiotherapy, fitness certificate was issued by the specialist orthopaedic surgeon after examining her knee condition. A follow up after 6 months revealed that the patient had not experienced any swelling or pain, was able to walk and climb steps normally, was able to sit cross legged on floor with ease, with no other symptoms or discomfort.

Conclusion: In this case study, it is observed that Yoga Prana Vidya healing helped the patient wholly in recovery stages 1, 2 and 3, enabling the patient lead normal life. Thus, YPV system has shown to be a good adjunct in the conservative treatment of first patellar dislocation.

Abstract :

Introduction: Sacralization is a congenital condition in which the lumbar vertebra fuses completely or partially with the sacrum on either or both sides. The relationship between sacralization and low back pain is not clear. This paper describes a case of Sacralisation of L-5 Vertebra and how it was treated successfully by Yoga Prana Vidya System of energy healing without surgery.

Methods: This paper uses case study method analysing the patient medical records and patient condition pre and post Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) healing intervention.

Results: After giving two sessions of healings the patient condition returned to normal. The back pain disappeared completely and the patient was fine and fit as normal. A follow up after 6 months, indicated that the patient had not been experiencing any more back pain after YPV healing.

Conclusion:
This case report is perhaps first of its kind to have published a treated case of sacralization using energy healing techniques as followed in the YPV protocols. The role of YPV healing as successful complementary and/or alternative medicine has been quite evident. It is recommended that large scale studies be conducted using YPV protocols with appropriate sample sizes to scientifically validate the results for general population.

Abstract :

Introduction: CVJ (Craniovertebral junction) anomalies are rare but cause troublesome health issues for patients. Complex surgical procedure or conservative management of this condition is the usual medical solution. This case study documents the process and effective outcome of Yoga Prana Vidya Healing as an alternative conservative treatment. Prior medical investigations: A 54 year old Patient with severe debilitating painconsulted a neurosurgeon and a spine surgeon. CT scan and MRI scan revealed CVJ anomalies such as C1 – C2 fusion with Os –odontoideum, cervical disc prolapse with narrowing of foramen magnum without any neurological deficit, but associated with debilitating sub-occipital cervical spasmodic pain, causing limitation of movements of Head & Neck. Therapeutic intervention: The patient tried the Yoga Prana Vidya system which include physical exercises, breathing exercise, planetary peace meditation and advanced YPV healing techniques. Only local analgesic spray and limited systematic pain killers were used. Result: The YPV therapy made her asymptomatic within 10-15 days, the severity of pain reduced after one week, spasm of the neck muscle reduced gradually between 2nd and 3rd months. She regained complete relaxation, painless free movement of head and neck within 3 months. Conclusion: YPV healing therapy worked effectively for controlling the pain associated with torticollis and sub-occipital headache in CVJ abnormalities, and restore the normal movements of the Neck and Head without using conventional analgesic and traction therapy. CVJ anomalies can be safely managed conservatively by the yoga prana Vidya (YPV) therapy.
